.SH DESCRIPTION
.B lctl llog remove
removes the log named by
.I LOGNAME
or by its
.IR FID ,
typically on the MGS.  A plain log is destroyed whole and
.B --log_id
is ignored.  For a catalog,
.B --log_id
names one plain log inside it to remove, and without it every log in the
catalog is removed.

The log

of a plain log inside a catalog, in the bracketed FID form
.B [SEQ:OID:VER]
that
.BR lctl-llog-print (8)
reports for that catalog.
It is ignored when

names a plain log.
